The who, what, why, where and when about Bebebel!
Who: The idea and concept of Bebebel was created and developed by Belle McKnight - the Managing Director, the buying and packing divisons are managed by Claire Williamson. Both are graduates: Claire in French and Geography and Belle in Business Studies. Claire's experience has centred around teaching English and overseeing the marketing and organisation of cultural and language school tours across Europe. While Belle’s experience focuses on a sales and management route within the IT recruitment industry. Both are mothers and know only too well the difficulties of travelling with children!
What: Bebebel Holiday sells an extensive range of UK and internationally branded baby products that can be delivered to any Global destination. We basically offer a personal shopping, packing and delivery service for your baby, to help you have a more relaxing start to your holiday. Bebebel Innovations sells a unique range of innovative and creative baby products including real nappies and fabulous sun protection swimwear and floatsuits.
Why: After having Ruby and flying frequently to and from Spain and the UK, Belle realised three things. 1) how difficult it is to travel with babies, 2) how much stuff they need and 3) she needed a service like this! Hence she created Bebebel.
Where: Bebebel has 2 offices Belle heads up the Mojacar office (in Spain where she relocated 7 years ago) and Claire runs the buying and packing division from Surrey.
When: Bebebel, established in April 2007 has since has grown from strength to strength with articles published in Mother and Baby Magazine, Junior Magazine and The Telegraph. Plus attaining approved supplier status for TUI Travel (First Choice Holidays, Thomson Holidays, Crystal Ski etc) , Directline Holidays, Holiday Rentals, Holiday Lettings and Owners Direct. Recently seen on ITV's This Morning Mumpreneur in September 2008 when Belle McKnight made it into the top 5 contestants in Glasgow. Watch this space for more news…………
